Protecting cops from Bird Pests:

The Trusty old 12 Gauge

Utilising a range of 12 gauges from traditional sporting Over/Under to semi Automatic, dependant on the quarry.

Generally employed for Pigeon and Corvid control, the 12 gauge is also employed for migratory wild fowl quarry species such as duck and geese.

For all hunting purposes I only ever use steel shot with fibre or biodegradable wads to ensure the best protection for your land even before the legislation changes in the UK banning lead.

Either Rough shooting or from a purpose build hide, the 12 gauge is a staple of bird control that is affecting crops.

We respect your land and trust - all empty cartridges will be removed.

Destructive Rabbits.

.22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire

Problem Foxes

.223 Remington (5.56x45)

Employing a bolt action rifle with a 16” barrel and moderator, primarily as a night time predator control rifle.

Short, compact and light but effective out to 300-400 yards this setup is perfect for moving from location to location on farms where multiple foxes may be predating across several areas of your land.

This calibre is also suitable for Muntjac and Chinese water Deer, giving this set up flexibility to deal with several Medium sized mammals species that you may have problems with.

Marauding Deer

Main Deer rifle but also capable for fox, The .308 rifle is an excellent choice for hunting due to its versatility, power, and accuracy.

Known for its balanced combination of recoil, range, and stopping power, the .308 is capable of taking down a wide range of game, including Red Deer and wild boar.

Its relatively low recoil makes it easier to handle, while still offering enough punch to ensure ethical and humane kills at medium to long distances.

Moderators

All Rifles will be legally moderated this is not as some think for the “taticool” factor but is vital for dampening the report of the rifle when shot.

By reducing or “moderating” the sound of the shot, it helps with reducing the likeliness of scaring away quarry, as well as avoiding disturbing neighbours or the general public, lastly for our own interests, it support our own health and safety by adding another level of hearing protection whilst hunting

Night Vision/Thermal

Employing the use of night vision rifle sights to reduce disturbances and increase effectiveness

A force multiplier, utilising modern  NV day/night units with ballistic calculators and LRF to support 1st shot kill.

As well as improving hit rate, by eliminating the need to lamp, there is less attention drawn to the activates that can have negative impacts from concerned members of the public, neighbours or  anti hunting campaigners.

Cameras

Remote Battery powered trail cameras to support additional reconnaissance of land or areas of concern. Motion activates it provides a wider view of activity in areas we operate. by understand patterns and where the quarry is, allows us to efficiently carry our our activities create a positive impact for you.

Hides, Decoys, Lures and ancillary equipment

Different quarry require different approaches in stalking targeting shooting and harvesting.
