Our aim is to provide a service that reduces damage, costs and concerns on local course owners, without affecting members

By reducing the rabbit populations to a sustainable levels, and though leant prey behaviour which  encourages rabbits to be wary of moving about in the open greens where they can cause significant damage.

Though this close management, rabbits are more likely to stay in areas where they feel safe and can find food and shelter without predations or disturbance moving  to safer, quieter areas within the same environment and away from greens and fairways to more rough and hidden corners of your highly maintained course

As a business the conditions of your fairways and greens reflect on the prestige and reputation of your course and directly affect member numbers and income

Ranging from  about £150k  to £1m per year,  Maintenance costs  can soon mount up  in an effort to keep courses in pristine condition. Ensuring that no damage comes to this investment  should be key to any operating strategy to help minimize both the costs to repair these assets and protect the reputation of the course for its members end their experience.

However unfortunately the common wild rabbit as well as other mammals  thrive on these meticulously kept fairways and greens due to Golf courses providing a rich variety of grass and vegetation, which rabbits find ideal for grazing.

Abundant Food Sources: Golf courses provide a rich variety of grass and vegetation, which rabbits find ideal for grazing. The well-maintained lawns and open spaces offer an easy and constant food supply, making it an attractive habitat for them to live and breed

Suitable Habitat: Golf courses often feature a mix of open areas, roughs, and areas with dense vegetation or shrubs, providing shelter and cover for rabbits. The lack of natural predators on most golf courses further contributes to their thriving populations.

Minimal Human Disturbance: Golf courses tend to have low human activity, particularly in early mornings or late evenings when rabbits are most active. This gives them a sense of safety, allowing them to forage without the fear of being disturbed or hunted.

Ideal Terrain for Burrowing: The landscape of golf courses, which often includes soft, well-drained soil, is ideal for rabbit burrows. These burrows are used for nesting and protection, allowing rabbits to easily establish colonies on golf courses.

Mild Climate: Golf courses typically maintain a consistent environment, with grass that stays green and grows year-round. This climate is favourable for rabbits to find food and shelter regardless of the season.

From burrows to divots and bald patches, left unchecked Rabbits and other pests  can cause significant and ongoing damage and increasing costs
